Where are you from?

I was born in Monterey Park, California.

What college did you attend?

I attended UC Santa Cruz.

Why did you come to Arroyo?

I was interested in this school. I wanted to become a part of the team and help students here from this diverse community. I was excited, I heard so much about it which made me eager to join.   

What were you doing before this position?

I was working at a charter school.

How long have you been teaching?

This is my second year of teaching.

What subject(s) do you teach?

I teach English.

Why did you choose teach what you are teaching?

English has always been my interest. I love reading and I’ve always been interested in writing as well. It’s just a favorite subject of mine and I thought it would be a good idea to share my passion with students.

What are some of your hobbies?

I like baking. I like running, well like jogging. I like art and I also collect pins.

What would you be doing if you were not teaching?

Well, I always thought it would be fun to work at a museum or be a librarian.

How do you like Arroyo so far?

I like it, it’s a great school! I’m very excited and happy to be here.
