Where are you from?

I’m from El Monte.

What high school/college did you attend?

I went to Arroyo High School, Cal State Los Angeles, and Point Loma University.

How do you like Arroyo?

I love it. It’s been a part of my life, almost all my life.

How long have you been teaching?

About 18 years. But this is my first year as a Social Science teacher.

Why did you choose your subject you teach?

I’ve always liked history and after studying abroad in England, I decided this is what I wanted to do.

What are some of your hobbies?

I play guitar, roller skate, and collect old books.

What type of music do you listen to?

Everything from rock, jazz, hip hop, and 80’s music.

What is your least favorite subject?

Most definitely math.

What is your best high school memory?

My best high school memory is probably the night the girls gymnastics won CIF.

What would you be doing if you weren’t teaching?

Probably working with kids in some capacity.

What are you involved in outside of school?

Just being a dad, playing music, and roller skating.
